Plactic bonded ferrite magnets

See our Plactic bonded ferrite magnets

Plastic-bonded magnets can be manufactured by pressing or injection molding basic substances consisting of ferrite, Neoflux or Samarium-Cobalt. It is mixed with a thermoplastic like pylamide.

The advantage of this fabric is that it can be pressed or injection molded into very specific shapes, with tight tolerances of +- 0.05 mm and without additional machining.

Although plastic-bonded Neoflux magnets have a stronger resistance to corrosion compared to Neoflux, coating is recommended.

This substance can be magnetized in different directions as it is isotropic (see page 3).
