Carbon Holders

A carbon holder is a box or a tube which ensures that the carbon brushes can glide easily with a certain spring pressures against the contact surface of the commutator or slip ring in machine construction. There are standard dimensions for carbon holders, but there are different layouts, depending on the design of the machine constructor.

The compression spring in the carbon holder is usually a part of the carbon holder, but the spring pressure must be correct for the particular appliance, which is why the application must be explained when it is ordered. Carbon holders are often made out of brass and isolated from the other machine parts.

Carbon holders are on stock, but ask for concrete types.
