Due to increasingly strict environmental requirements, barium ferrite has been replaced by stontium ferrite in recent years.<br \/>\nFerrite is the cheapest magnetic material and has a high resistance to corrosion, which means that surface treatment (coating) is unnecessary.<\/p>\n<p>This magnetic material is hard and fragile and needs to be worked with diamond, preferably when it is not magnetic.<\/p>\n<p>Because it can shrink during the sintering process, a tolerance of +- 2% should be taken into account when determining the dimensions. If machined +- 0.1 mm. Tighter tolerances are available if desired.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrite magnets are available both isotropic and anisotropic and are used in many different products such as speakers, magnetrons, measuring instruments, toys, motors, reed switches, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Maximum usable temperature is 225\u00ba C, depending on the specification, dimensions and system design.<\/p>\n<p>For specifications, see the table.
